Rumours. Lies, Tears & Tantrums

After many false starts with different management and record companies, we finally got around to recording, free to do the songs the way WE wanted to. Some on this album have lived with me for many years, changing and growing as new members came and went. Some are personal......REACH OUT - for a friend who died of cancer......STREETS OF FIRE - for one of our road crew charged with murder. Some are fiction...... ROSIE......HEART & SOUL. Some......You'll have to make your own mind up! I believe songs should paint pictures in your own mind, without  the writer colouring them in too much......However, I always saw BLACK RUN on the ski slopes, funny because I don't ski!......

Back On Your Heads

Following the success of the first album, and a catalogue of songs, we were keen to get back into the studio, still writing some new stuff along the way. To give a fresh approach to the production, we brought over from the UK, my old friend and guitar partner for many years, Mark Mawson, also taking the opportunity for him to play on a few tracks. Our guitar harmonies on TURN THE TABLES are always a live favorite, and wanting to get this down, we recorded it live in the studio. Unfortunately for us though, on it's own, it didn't seem to work, so we recorded the audience reaction at some live gigs, dropped them onto the track, and it came to life...... that's why it sounds so big!......
