Thank's guys, It will be worth the wait, the last bit always seems to take the longest ie the album design and cover plus all the printing and PRS shit. Just had a meet with Rob our video guy to make a start on the new video, another track from the new album IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER, a track called Chase The Lighting. The process of writing, recording and making videos is what music is all about for me, how so many good musicians end up playing in fucking tribute bands, I know it's easy money at the moment, but for music to go forward more players need to do something new and original. This country has produced some of the best bands in the world, and there are some great bands playing original material out their with great musicians, but far to many bands trying to be someone there not................

Not everybody can write original songs, some of us are just players. I play in a covers band at the moment and have played in a tribute band in the past some of us are just mortal and try our best to have a play

if you cant afford to see the reel thing,a good tribute band can fill a gap, strangers know more need to get playing live then wouldnt need to go see tribute band

Hi guy, there always has been a place for covers bands, that is where most of us cut our playing teeth, and there were tribute bands about as well, but now it's got out of hand, there some very good tribute band out there, who do a good job playing at being a band there NOT.

A lot of the gigs that are out there only want tribute bands so what can you do??????

I agree with Chris there are to many tribute bands, were are the original bands this country was known for, well done SKM for flying the flag for UK original rock. Looking forward to the new album, the last two were great.......Mick

Thank Mick for the comment, the new album {IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER} is taking a bit longer to get out than we hoped, but should be out at the end of the month (FEB) ,working on 2nd promo video for the album,the first one (THE ONLY ONE) seemed to upset some people (FUCK EM) the new video (CHASE THE LIGHTING) will be out at the same time as the album, hope you guys like it, don't forget to let us know what you think........All the best Chris......

Well, Strangers Know More are back to full strength, now with new members Furgi , Steve and Alex [see biogs] bringing new blood to SKM, which let's Sam get back on guitar, the three piece was great, but it does push you down a particular road, however, with the five piece it opens up the songs. We are sorting gig dates for the new year [get in touch if you know of any gig that could suit SKM ] We'll be up-dating the gig page on the site, so try and keep up to date, don't forget to leave a comment on this page with you're thoughts [ about SKM that is ]…...

Good to here you guys are still flying the flag for original rock in this country, all the best MD.

Well the wind of change have blown through the SKM camp again , our mate Furgi is doing great with new projects, (at Wembey supporting the WHO ) we wish him all the best, we now have Ian Pawsey on bass duty's and he's fitted in with Steve to make up a solid rhythm section, Alex has gone to get his head sort'ed, so here we go again, we've been out with new lineup and it's working well.......see you all soon.........
